We flew home from the Panama Canal cruise from March Air Reserve Base east of Los Angeles to Pope Field on Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on an Air Force Reserve C-17 on Jan 6, 2020. Nice flight, thank you, Air Force. We were the only passengers.

Our military is getting prepared for the conflict with Iran. The plane was going to continue on with a load of ammunition. 400 Marines left March just before us, and the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg was busy getting prepared.

Stay safe, ladies and gentleman. Here is hoping it does not develop into a big war. We are tired of continuous conflict in the middle east.

Wednesday - Dec 18, 2019 Board Day 1 Fort Lauderdale, United States Depart: 4:00 pm actually departed about 630 pm. Boarding was a cluster. Then I spilled beer on Beth's clothes. We washed them out. Then went to the lifeboat drill with Beth wearing wet pants.

Then our luggage came very late so Beth had no clothes. I was a dead man walking. Then she was picked to be a model in a fashion show, so things improved

Thursday - Dec 19, 2019 Day 2 At Sea Rue is a model at fashion show. The cruise director saw her in a shop and talked her I to jt. She was gorgeous and the crowd favorite as she whirled and twirled with her Santa Claus hat.

Friday - Dec 20, 2019 Day 3 At Sea. Sue Wiggins took the same cruise on the same ship a few weeks before us. Many people got sick. She was quarantined to her room for 2 days. Great. Wash your hands!!!

Saturday - Dec 21, 2019 Day 4 Cartagena, Colombia Arrive: 7:00 am Depart: 3:00 pm very nice city. Bought some emeralds and other gifts. Expensive coffee. Very hot.

Sunday - Dec 22, 2019 Day 5 Cruising the Panama Canal, Panama

Arrive: 6:00 am Depart: 4:30 pm canal is nice. Ve hi byry large lake lots of ship

Monday - Dec 23, 2019 Day 6 Fuerte Amador, Panama Arrive: 6:30 am Depart: 6:00 pm nice historic city, nice lunch shrimp cerviche.

Tuesday - Dec 24, 2019 Day 7 At Sea Xmas Eve dinner

Wednesday - Dec 25, 2019 Day 8 Puntarenas, Costa RicaArrive: 7:00 am Depart: 7:00 pm tour to rain forest aerial ride, butterflies, tour Costa Rica, sloths.

Thursday - Dec 26, 2019 Day 9 San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua Arrive: 7:00 am Depart: 6:00 pm nice city, took a pedal rickshaw around the town bought some stuff, lu ch, back to the ship. I washed clothes. Had some paper in my pockets that disintegrated, huge mess

Friday - Dec 27, 2019 Day 10 At Sea, start diet again did not work

Saturday - Dec 28, 2019 Day 11 Huatulco, Mexico

Arrive: 8:00 am Depart: 5:00 pm, nice town, walk off ship on to a nice Beach and small town with lots of restaurants and shops.

Sunday - Dec 29, 2019 Day 12 At Sea

Monday - Dec 30, 2019 Day 13 Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Arrive: 8:00 am Depart: 5:00 pm. Nice town. Was going to see my cousin Dana who was vacationing there but did not feel well.

Tuesday - Dec 31, 2019 Day 14 At Sea Happy New Years eve party.
